Lumberjack's Ghost

Lumberjack's Ghost is a Lumberman pipe. The 'Lumberjack's Ghost ' story is one of the sad ones. Displaying the problems that pipemakers struggle with. Occationally, briar blocks have cracks and holes deep within the block. These air bubbles can live inside your pipe and nobody knows.

Ocassionally, these airbubbles causes burnouts, destroying the pipe. So, quality control should avoid that any pipe with these defects is sold. I know I wouldn't sell my pipes like this. Not even as a second or third grade pipe. I Usually keep them, or give them away. I kept the lumberjack's Ghost. After all it is Halloween in just a few days, and who wouldn't smoke a ghost at this day?.

DevilsOrange

The DevilsOrange, not to be mistaken for Agent Orange. Even though its creation had it casualties. Originally it was intended to be part of the "Haddock" serie. But due to a broken blue stem, apparently 7mm and filing without inlay will break stems. But everything happens for a reason.

The DevilsOrange is a wonderful view of bad luck gone great. Instead of following a theme this pipe broke free and demanded its individuality. Which it got. The pipe is brushticated except for a piece og good looking birds eye. As always the pipe is a sitter for your convenience.

BamBillard

The cool BamBillard pipe is a Billard pipe where part of the stem is a piece of bamboo. The pipe has a rustic look and a crack in the briar on one side and a piece of raw root "birds eye" has been kept. Instead of the standard rustication used to hide these "flaws" they have been kept and along with the bamboo stem this gives the pipe a cool "vintage look".
The pipe has a red acrylic ring at the end of the bamboo stem, and an ebonite stem. The top of the tobacco chamber has a deep red colour to match the ring giving the pipe a completed look where the colour matches. There's a deep birdeye on one side and long clear grain on the other side.

Nordli

The following awesome pipe is called: "Nordli", named after the person who ordered it. I call it the Norwegian Corvette. As the pipe should be smoked while the owner drives his corvette.

The pipe is created from the finest Spanish briar. It is designed as a sitting poker shape. Enabling you to place it at your leisure during
smoking and pick it up again when needed.

Dimensions:
Height - 55 mm
Length - 132 mm
Outside chamber diameter - 36 mm
Inside chamber diameter - 19 mm
Chamber depth - 44 mm

The pipe is handmade in Denmark. It has 3 hand fitted rings. One made from a nut and 2 pieces of acrylic which together with the red stem discretely forms a piece of the norwegian flag. The pipe color is black and dark brown with a light brown bowl bottom and top.

The tobacco chamber is large enough to fit a full standard golden sliced Orlik flake, which should have you smoking like a champ for at least an hour. Imagine that the Judge driving in a Norwegian Corvette. Sweet sweet smoke.

The Captain

This billard sitter pipe has been inspired by the great character Captain Haddock.

During the age of tobacco hunting Haddock lost his right to smoke the pipe and he will in the future most likely also loose his right to drink rum.  A sad development for story telling.

Since if you can only tell stories about the "right" things in life and not the real world, or some of the crazy encounters that you'll likely meet out there in the world. We have gone too far into the personal freedoms.

That's why I figured Haddock needed a new pipe, since they took away his old one. This Billard is one that I', sure the Captain would like to smoke. It has a deep tobacco chamber and is light. Perfect for the long and hard windy sail trips on the salty sea. Or any occasion really.
